Mr and Mrs Simmons
After a magnificent ceremony, the guests were lead to the Maurice Braun Ballroom at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. The ballroom had been decorated in an array of pastel flowers and had a vibrant energy that truly foreshadowed the night. After everyone had arrived, the Bridal party was introduced as “Bonnie and Clyde 2003” by Jay-Z and Beyonce was played for a grand entrance. As the newlyweds were announced for the first time as “Mr and Mrs Regan and Kelly Simmons”, the guests couldn’t help but stare as Kelly’s strapless, floor length, elegant white dress glided across the floor. The couples entrance was breathtaking and as soon as they entered the ballroom you could feel the love and excitement of everything the night had in store.
The newlyweds first dance was truly an amazing sight to see. With a live performance by Nick Palance, the couple’s first dance of their new life together was an extraordinary way to start off the night.
The bride was surprised by introducing an old Irish tradition of serenading the bride before the garter is removed and tossed to the crowd. Kelly’s illuminating smile and surprise lit up the room around her as the men got down on one knee and sang to her.
This wedding was truly a sight to see and thanks to an amazing crew it was perfect. The wedding was coordinated by Emily Smiley, the vibrant flowers by were done by Karen Tran, a seamless and custom dance floor by Platinum Pro, Darin Fong was the photographer, Blue Pearl handled the video and of course Entertainment At Large with thrilled to be the DJ.
Hi Mike – What an outstanding job you did at Kelly & Regan’s wedding in March! You provided us with such a good time – your music selection was right on, great dancing tunes…and Kelly exclaimed the same words. She says your “Top Gun” excerpt was the best part of the night – thanks so much!
